I received my training at the Iowa Massage Institute in Des Moines. I have been licensed (#04064) with the State of Iowa since 2005.
I believe that our bodies are created to be self-healing. Massage therapy is one of many ways to help enable that process. This is my intention for you when I perform massage.
My style is based in Swedish massage but using whatever I think is needed and the client can tolerate. Because I have some chair massage contracts offsite, I keep my office open by appointment.
When you schedule an appointment, the time listed is the massage time - not the appointment time. Keep this in mind if you are working with a tight schedule.
In addition to massage, I am a Spring Forest Qigong Certified Trainer and Practice Group Leader.
I teach the Level One Qi Activation course, and as a Practice Group Leader, I lead active exercises and meditations that you can do to support good health by removing energy blocks. There is a separate page where my current public offerings are shown.
